The True Standard of Justice by Holy Prophet PBUH. (Malfoozat of Shaykh al-Islam Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani)

It was advised that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has outlined the best method for justice, and there can be no better way for a society.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that the true standard of justice is to put yourself in the place of the person with whom you are dealing. If you were in their position, what would you expect? If you are a parent dealing with your children, put yourself in the child’s position and think: What would you expect from your father if you were the child?

Similarly, if you are the child, think: If I were in my parent’s position, what would I expect from my child? Treat others in the same way you expect to be treated.

This is the best standard given by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and there can be no better standard than this. Injustice begins when a person, in their own matters, insists on receiving their full rights, even expecting more, but when it comes to others’ rights, they cut corners and try to not deliver the rights in good way..
