Turning Every Moment into Worship (Malfoozat of Shaykh al-Islam Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani)
It was advised that no matter what state a person is in, they are never free from one of two conditions. Either they are experiencing something that is in line with their desires, or they are facing something that goes against their nature.
Every moment that passes is either pleasant or unpleasant. Develop the habit of showing gratitude for the pleasant moments, and if you are facing hardship, make it a habit to say Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un (To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return) and turn to Allah.
If you do this, every moment of your life will turn into an act of worship, and no moment will be devoid of worship. You will always have the opportunity to turn towards Allah.
